Education
Yolanda was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Writing from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Throughout college, Yolanda worked at a personal injury law firm. She obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law in 2018.
During law school, Yolanda was an Articles Editor for the Nevada Law Journal. She was also an active member of the Nevada Justice Association, La Voz, and a member of the Student Body Association. She also served as an extern for the Honorable Judge Bare and the Honorable Judge Togliatti at the Eighth Judicial District Court.

Yolanda is admitted to practice law before the state and federal courts of Nevada, the state courts of Arizona, and the state courts of New Mexico. She is a member of the Nevada Justice Association, the American Bar Association, and the Young Lawyers Section of the State Bar of Nevada.
Yolanda currently serves on the Nevada Editorial Board and Character and Fitness Committee for the Nevada State Bar, the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, and the Club X Committee for the Nevada Justice Association.
